The last two International Cat Shows organised by the Malta Feline Guardians Club, on the 6th and 7th December, were a great success. Different types of breeds such as the Sphinx, Maine coon, Persian, Exotic, Burmilla, Nebelung, Siberian, Colour Point, Chincilla and of course the Domestic cat were exhibited in these shows. The judges Ms Anneliese Hackmann from Germany who is also the President of the World Cat Federation and Ms Nini Phampelin from Belgium did a great job on both days. The exhibitors and also the visitors enjoyed the shows and even the information delivered by the judges during the judging and also during the rings and the best.



The Micabliss Persians, did very well during these shows, as many of their exhibited cats obtained very good results. In fact on Saturday, which was the first day of the International Cat Shows, Micabliss Persians obtained these results: Micabliss Our Sweet won the Best In Show Kitten (3-6), CH Eurecat Dior won the Best In Show Adults and the General Best and the exotic cat CH Diciotto Carati Nuance won the Best Opposite Sex. The climax was when CH Eurecat Dior won the General Best – the second time for this year. A superb looking cat with all the elements for winning all the awards even the General Best. On the second day of these shows, the Micabliss Persians had another of their successes since Micabliss Our Sweet won the Christmas Kitten and also the Best In Show Kitten (3-6), CH Eurecat Dior won the Best In Show Adults and IC Innocence del Settimocielo won the Best Opposite Sex.



The Micabliss Persians is very proud for the results obtained in these two International Cat Shows and is very pleased in producing cats with a very high standard. From the very beginning the Micabliss Persians’ aim was to reach the standard found abroad and we can say that the aim has been reached although the standard of all breeds is currently being changed from year to year.

Micabliss Persians would like to thank Domenico Falasca and Roberta Colombo from the Falco D’Oro Cattery, Italy who came on purpose in order to take care and prepare all the Micabliss Persians for these two shows. Great thanks goes also to Malvina Ceccarelli – the Micabliss coordinator who assisted the two friends from Falco D’Oro.

Besides this, the Micabliss Persians would like to congratulate all the winners in these two International Cat Shows and also all the exhibitors who took part.
